Born in the South-East but moved to Nottingham in the 1980's. She was writing regularly during her teenage years, but only began to seriously pursue publication since early 2000.

She has had a number of articles published in an online magazine and contributed articles to newsletters of organisations she has been a member of, including family history society publications.

She prefers to write fiction and her current projects include: short stories; flash fiction; a romance novella set in Nottinghamshire; and an historical romance set in 18th Century Dorset.
