Membership Details

We have three types of membership: full, family and associate.

Full members receive:	Free entry to our monthly meetings. These total 12 per year including 3 social events in April, August and December. We also have informal meetings at The Orange Tree (corner of Shakespeare Street and North Sherwood Street) on the fourth Wednesday of the month from about 6.30 pm. Entry to all of our competitions, poetry and prose, including the annual awards for which they receive a short critique from most of the judges. A printed copy of our quarterly magazine, Scribe, which contains write ups of our speaker evenings and parties, literary events, members' news, successes, the year's program, prose and poetry results and winners, and more.
Family members receive:	All of the above for two people.
Associate members receive:	Free entry to our regular prose and poetry competitions for which they receive a short critique from most of the judges. An pdf version of Scribe sent by e mail.

All types of members go onto our e mail list to receive news about Club activities and also to pass on items we receive about the writing world.

If you don't wish to be a member but would like to come to meetings, visitors are always welcome.

Visitor's Fee	£3 per meeting
